This years theme is THEATRE and The CULTURE of PEACE.

Each year the International Theatre Institute designate someone to delivered the years message, the message is been delivered this year by Egyptian actress Samiha Ayoub, who has appeared in 174 plays and several movies.

The city with most theatres is New York with 420, followed by Paris with 353 and Tokyo with 230 and London with 214.

The longest theatre production is THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA since1988 crossing close to 7 billions dollars.

The smallest theatre in the world is the KREMHOFTHEATER in Austria that can take 8 persons.
